Should have named this blog Swamped....

I cannot look back at my posts without reading about how swamped I am!  Hopefully in the new year I will have time to breathe.  Until then only a few more days until Christmas.  I need to do lots of shopping and catch a plane on Wednesday.  So that leaves one day to get wrapped and packed!  I wish you all an amazing holiday season.  I hope you cherish the time spent with family and remember what is really important.  My Esty shop will reopen around the 2nd week of January.  Thank you so much for supporting handmade!  I am grateful for you!

Big News

I have been massively busy these last several weeks and feel as if I have had to put off focusing on my jewelry and finishing a lot of new pieces that are almost done.  I do have a good reason though!  I have decided to make a move that will hopefully benefit me creatively.  In just 2 weeks I will be making the move from Missouri to Virginia. For the next year I want to focus solely on moving to the next level with my business.  Finally I am getting the chance to make it a top priority.  I have always loved the east coast and am happy to say I have found a gorgeous place to call my home.  I am so excited to decorate, I think I daydream about wall paper, rugs and other decorating goodies all day long....

Once I move and get all settled in, I promise that I will faithfully keep up with this blog and you will see new things in my store on a regular basis!

Here are a few photos of my new home, I will post more when I have a chance to fix it up:

Can't wait to put my own holiday decorations up!

Studio Room

Lots of room in this kitchen to whip up some Vegetarian Treats!

I hope everyone has had a lovely October!  Stay tuned for more pics of the new house, an Awesome Give-Away and a full etsy store just in time for the Holidays!

Busy Busy Busy!

I have been so busy lately.  I feel like I hardly get a chance to sit down and post.  One of these days I will tell you the reason for being so busy busy busy..... But now I am taking a moment to sit and reflect on the last couple of weeks.

I took a class on how to torch glass and am now going to incorporate it into my jewelry.  So the next couple of weeks I will be working on some new fun Fall pieces.  I can't wait to post pictures.  I will let you see a few of me hard at work, well maybe not hard...

On September 5th I was invited to do the 1st annual 117 Days at the Pageant in St. Louis.  It was a really fun time and I met so many lovely local artists and musicians.  My good friend, Erin helped me.  Thank goodness for her, she helped me sell sell sell.  I am pretty pleased with how everything turned out.  Here are a few photos I took during the event.

Vacation Photos and New Jewelry!

I have been so slow to post about my vacation.  It just seems like a lot of things took my attention as soon as I got home.  In the last week I have ended up having to get a new car battery and a new phone, had a bachelorette party to attend and have started working on a custom order.  Busy Busy Busy!

So finally I am able to share a little about my vacation.  The first leg began with a 3 day road trip from St. Louis to Saco, Maine.  We made several stops, one of them being my favorite unexpected stop in Port Jervis, NY at the Gillinder Glass Factory.  We were able to take a tour and watch the glass pieces being made.   I have always wanted to take a glass blowing class.  I have even signed up for several and all of them have been cancelled due to not enough interest.  One day....

Then later that evening we made it to our destination.  A little cottage in Camp Ellis, Maine that has been in our family for ages.  I have been going up almost every year since I was a little girl.  I have so many wonderful memories and tons of really funny ones.  The best memories are simple ones of sitting on the porch in our rocking chairs listening to the ocean and the lovely sounds of Bob Marley and Jimmy Buffet coming from the quaint Christine's Bed & Breakfast right across the street.

It's late so I will post in the next few days about my 2nd leg of my vacation.  I will also be starting my next Give-Away so keep checking back!  Good Night, Sleep Tight.
